Virtual Switchboard and Network Integration
VoIPPresence has all the functionality of a sophisticated switchboard. Calls can arrive at your existing numbers or at VoIPPresence Non-Geographic numbers via the phone network or Internet using a VoIP Gateway and are then processed through the VoIPPresence network hub.
A VoIPPresence user can take the call on any phone number, anywhere in the world, whether a landline or an extension, a mobile phone, a VoIP handset or softphone. Users have access to a common feature set for call transfer and recording.
Callers can be greeted with a recorded message and be presented with voice menus and key press options. Pre-programmed timers can control the call distribution and voicemail options before forwarding the call to a user or group of users.

VoIP SoftPhones
The downloadable VoIPPresence softphone runs on a PC and acts as a virtual telephone handset. A headset or USB handset improves ease of use of the softphone.
VoIP handsets such as the Grandstream 101 provide or more traditional approach as they resemble a normal phone but plug into the computer network and behave like a VoIP phone.
Another alternative is to use a normal telephone with a VoIP adaptor such as the Grandstream Handytone ATA-486.
